Fishing boats lined up into the bad weather at Phry Spacer A small ship run aground east of Voualia
 
Here we see the clouds gathering in Phry. The boats have been arranged to face into the wind. The weather is often bad during the winter months but the fishermen know just how to deal with it.   Taken from the Olympic Airways plane, this photograph shows just how rough it can get east of Voualia; you can see the water breaking over the wreck of a small ship that ran aground there a couple of years ago.
